1. COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES Passengers and staff must follow COVID-19 safety protocols as per prevailing government guidelines. Non-compliance may result in denial of boarding, without any refund.
2. SEATING CAPACITY Each helicopter seats a maximum of 6 passengers.
3. HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMITATION

• Max permissible weight (excluding baggage): 450 kg
• Accurate body weights must be provided at the time of booking.
• Final boarding is subject to weight/load conditions. Pilot’s decision will be final.
• Any weight discrepancy leading to overload will result in denial of boarding without refund.

4. OVERWEIGHT CHARGES

• INR 2,000/kg for passengers exceeding 75 kg
• Calculated only if combined group weight exceeds permissible limit (75 kg x No. of pax)
• Payable before boarding if applicable

5. ARRIVAL DATE Passengers must arrive in Dehradun one day before the scheduled flying date (Day 2).
6. BAD WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE DISCLAIMER Flying in the hills is subject to:

• Bad weather
• Air Traffic Delays / VVIP movement / IAF flying (NOTAM)
• Technical issues / crew illness / late reporting

Passengers must be ready for delays or tour cancellations in such cases.

9. EXTRA DAY RECOMMENDATION We suggest keeping one buffer day after the tour in case of delays.
10. ADD-ON SERVICES Any services not included in the tour will be chargeable and must be requested at booking.
11. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

• Passengers must consult a doctor if having any medical conditions.
• Medical evacuation, if required: INR 1,50,000 + UCADA + GST

12. CARRIAGE BY AIR ACT, 1972 Services governed by the Carriage by Air Act, 1972. Liability limited to applicable provisions and rules.
13. PASSENGER CONDUCT Explore India Tours reserves the right to cancel bookings of unruly, unfit, intoxicated, or abusive passengers without refund.
14. NOT PERMITTED TO FLY Tour not available for:

• Speaker Lok Sabha / Dy. Chairperson Rajya Sabha / Cabinet Ministers
• Chief Ministers / Governors / Judges of Supreme Court
• SPG Protectees (Z+ security)

15. RESCHEDULING POLICY

• 28 days before arrival: 10% of total cost
• <28 days: Treated as cancellation, fresh booking required with cancellation charges applied

16. PAYMENT TERMS

• 50% advance required to confirm booking
• Balance due 14 days prior to travel
• Payment modes: Bank transfer, UPI, cash, card
• Card charges: 3.5% (domestic), 4.5% (Amex/foreign)
• No boarding without full payment

17. CANCELLATION POLICY

• 25 days: 30% deduction
• 15–25 days: 50% deduction
• 8–14 days: 75% deduction
• <7 days / no-show / post-tour start: No refund

18. FORCE MAJEURE & BAD WEATHER REFUNDS

• Complete Tour Cancelled: Full refund – INR 50,000 (preparation/ground charges) deducted
• Only Badrinath done: INR 4,80,000 (for 6 pax)
• Only Kedarnath done: INR 4,20,000 (for 6 pax)
• Ek Dham tour charges apply if only one Dham covered
• No refund for unutilized services
• COVID-19 or Government Lockdown: Credit Voucher valid for 1 year

19. ADDITIONAL NOTES ON FORCE MAJEURE

• No liability for flight cancellations due to weather/technical/operational issues
• No compensation for meals, hotel, or transport in such cases
• Refunds as per policy only
• If tour starts and is disrupted midway, revised itinerary will be proposed (within original duration)
• Additional flying: INR 1,20,000/hr + UCADA + GST
• Extra hotel nights due to weather: Payable by client directly

20. TAXES & FEE REVISIONS Any increase in taxes or temple authority charges post-booking shall be payable before travel.
21. DISPUTES All legal matters will be under the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.
22. BOOKING ACCEPTANCE Booking is accepted only after confirmation that these terms & conditions are understood and accepted by the client.

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
